Productive interview
Well, the interview at Kelly Services was rather productive. Unlike other interviews I had before at agencies. Not that I got confirmed for a job or anything like that. The consultant lead me through questions, preparing for an interview. Beef up my answers. She thought that I speak well enough, only need to elaborate more on the answers. Even gave me a paper with tips on it. I really wonder how many people they prepped for interviews like this daily, that they have the templates files all photocopied out to be given out...
Informed me it's actually a job at call center of a bank. I gave my okay for her to send over my resume. Told me they are likely to call me up today or tomorrow for a phone interview. Now I feel sleepy, but I don't want to sound groggy if they do call and wake me up...
"Sound upbeat, make them feel like they can practically feel you smiling over at the other end of the phone!" Well..so we will see how that goes.
Second, my phone would probably stop embarrassing itself in another 2 week or so. Yes! I can order it in. It's called a dust cover, and would cause me 4 dollars. Should have just send the email first. Tried calling their hot-line. Put me on hold forever, I thought it was only about 10 minutes. Nope, according to my indecently dressed phone, it was 18 minutes. The second time around, it took like 5 seconds to connect through and the phone conversation was done in 3 minutes. I think I may have placed 2 orders now, one through email and the other through the phone. Well, I did tell the operator I email them, and asked her to check. Okay, waiting for them to contact me back now in another 2 weeks...
My art project! It's done! I think I spent about 2-3 hours last night finishing it. Quite proud of myself actually. Hahaha, it's as prettified as it can be with checkered brown wrapper. Well, there's still a side of the separator showing its true Marbolo cardboard self. Hahaha, our disc will turn yellow no more!
The front view, I actually planned to have just a bit of gap between the top and the window grill, but it turns out taller than I planned. This is actually better, I think. Fits nicely into the space. ^__^
The top view. Brown wrapper. My elder sister thinks it look bad, but I'm alright with it. Nice even. Just glad my mum did not pick anything flowery or with hearts/bears all over.
The side, with the Marbolo band showing....Was actually planning to cover it yesterday night with additional cupboard I have left, but was too tired in the end. I'll see how it goes, if I really cannot stand it, I would do something then. Think it would just stay like this though.
I'm so proud of this. The loose sleeve compartment. I keep losing disc that we keep on their own, tucking them into all corners of our house. Now I can just place them all here, bright idea!
