The Move
Quite happening at work for the past few days. Or messed up, depending on your stand-point. Busy packing things to move out of Atrium@Orchard into Comtech, the BRP team in place for the shift, the shift itself.
Happened to be one of those who were part of the make-shift team yesterday. Took over the CMB department for a while at the CLQ Building. Lines were connected wrongly, calls cannot be routed correctly. Most agents were either parked at the Autoloan or Internet-banking line most part of the time before they found out which seats have the phone-banking lines. A colleague was the lucky one who got seated at the correct seat, ended up picking up calls non-stop. 36 calls in an hour-plus.
Then, today, we were the first batch to start taking calls at Comtech. Had so much trouble finding our way in, damn inconvenient. The place is urban isolated. You have to walk up a long stretch of road to get to the building, can you imagine walking alone down after work at 9pm,11pm, or the 1.30am shifts? I am no longer going to/willing to change shift with you. Claimable taxi-fares or not.
Did testing, set-up from 6.30 m to 7.30pm. They scheduled 6 1.30am shifters, and the call volume is like usual. With the two midnight shifters coming in at 10.30pm, we have 8 agents available waiting for calls. I think I took 5 calls in the span of time between 10.30pm to 1.30am. T_T Really, we were entertaining ourselves there, joking about the most random of things trying to keep ourselves from dying of boredom.
Seriously. So happening.
